It all began with a dog and a business card.
In 1996, Jennifer left college at Chapman University in Orange County for L.A. with no job but one skill. She had grown up as a competitive equestrian and had attended countless training classes with her Mother and her numerous German Shepherds. She got a job finding and training the president of Hewlett Packard’s 2 German Shepherd protection dogs which led to working with The Chameleon Group- an elite security firm for which she trained many personal protection dogs for their celebrity and high end clients.
Throughout Jennifer’s career, she has been featured in a special episode of The Dog Whisperer, Co-Starring with Cesar Milan entitiled “Wolf Dogs: Out Of The Wild” and was even approached by the producers to take over the series when Cesar didn’t want to do the show anymore.
Jennifer has taught training seminars, lectures and classes across the country for doggie daycares, boarding facilities, vet offices and retail stores and has been a consultant for such facilities training staff and employees. She has been a celebrity spokesperson for pet retailer Planet Dog and viewed as one of the leading experts on wolf and wolf-dog behavior.
She has been a guest judge on Bravo’s Sheer Genius show and has been a trusted A- list celebrity dog trainer in Los Angeles for many years providing a very private and discreet service.
Jennifer has dealt with dogs through the L.A. court system dealing with the most severe cases of behavioral issues, to training service dogs dogs to help victims of war, human trafficking and has completed work with an Autism therapist to better train dogs for Autism service work. She is a former Schutzhund competitor and has four generations of training dogs in her family.
Experience matters. Jennifer is a Master Dog Trainer who has coached many successful dog trainers into becoming trainers themselves. She has been featured in most major publications across the country from the L.A. Times to the Wall Street Journal, and has appeared on several networks.
With an understanding and empathy for animals and a driven goal of wanting them to succeed, Jennifer wants to help every dog live their best life and help every family enjoy their pet to the fullest!
