For dogs 8 months and older: Equipment Needed: 6 ft. leash, flat collar, longline, favorite toy or ball.

Build a proper foundation for life-long training success.

(FIRST CLASS)* One hour Lecture and Q & A on problem solving & prevention techniques. We will work together with you to address issues throughout the course to help solve key behavior problems occurring in and outside of your home.

Recommendations on training equipment for your individual dog.

Commands: sit and down using drive and focus, proper sit on the heel, heel command, come when called, introduction to the stay commands.

Master these basic commands and the true reasons why they are critical and what they mean to your pet. 

Additional basic obedience topics to be covered include:

  • Praise

  • Socialization

  • Nutrition

  • Exercise

  • Voice commands

  • Hand signals

  • Leash control

  • Environment issues / topics

  • Children and dogs

Please note: we can not accept aggressive dogs in the group class setting. We are happy to schedule a private session with you to address any aggression issues.
